Christian UK

Christian UK is a daily news and editorial site covering the Christian resources landscape in the United Kingdom. We provide professional, independent coverage of books, events, courses, music, church resources, and children’s materials for people who work in or purchase Christian resources.

Our editorial focus is the UK market. We prioritise stories about UK Christian publishers, UK events, UK bookshops, and UK-based organisations. International stories are included when they have significant relevance to the UK audience.

Each article includes original editorial analysis alongside source attribution, helping readers understand not just what is happening but why it matters for the UK Christian resources sector.

Theological Scope

Christian Resources UK covers organisations and resources that subscribe to the historic creeds of the church — specifically the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. This is our theological boundary for inclusion.

We therefore cover the full breadth of creedal Christianity in the UK: Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox (Greek, Russian, Coptic, Antiochian, Romanian, Serbian, Ukrainian), Protestant (Reformed, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Congregational, Presbyterian), Pentecostal, charismatic, and new church movements — provided they affirm the Trinitarian faith expressed in the historic creeds.

Organisations that do not affirm the historic creeds — including those that deny the Trinity or the full divinity of Christ — fall outside our editorial scope.

Our Sourcing Approach

We source our news directly from the organisations themselves — publishers, charities, event organisers, bookshops, and denominations — who want news of their activities to reach a wider audience. Our role is to amplify their announcements and add editorial context that helps readers understand the significance of each story.

We do not source from other media outlets or news aggregators. Every article on this site is based on press releases, news pages, and official announcements published by the organisations themselves. This approach ensures we are helping organisations share their news, not competing with other publications.

Every article on Christian Resources UK includes two components: a factual summary of the news, drawn from the organisation’s own announcement, and original editorial commentary that analyses the significance of the story for the UK Christian resources market.

We aim to be informative, fair, and useful. Our audience includes publishers, booksellers, church leaders, ministry professionals, and anyone with a professional or personal interest in Christian resources in the United Kingdom.
